The South American Remote Solo Competitions organizes Scottish piping and drumming video-submission solo competitions for South American pipers and drummers. 

We work alongside the Scottish Pipe Band Association of South America (SPBASA), by both following their rules and best practices; and also by providing feedback and lessons learned to SPBASA, for all event organizers to benefit from our experience.

The South American Remote Solo Competitions is funded by competition registration fees and generous donations of time and money (see our Support page for more details).   These donations allow us to keep nominal competition registration fees.  Our expenditures are our adjudicators' fees, PayPal's fees, and our website's domain address registration.  Any excess money rolls over into our next competition's budget.  Our team does not receive any monetary compensation, as we are all volunteers.
